About Me
Valuing Art + Design
Art and design have always been at the core of what I do. After earning my degree in Media Arts and Animation from Emily Carr University of Art and Design, I spent years working in Vancouver’s fast-paced film and television industry, contributing to a variety of credited screen projects.
In 2020, I made a intentional pivot toward graphic design, surface art, and entrepreneurship. Driven by a desire to build something of my own, I poured my non-working hours into honing new technical skills, mastering pattern design, and diving deep into modern brand systems.
Today, that blend of cinematic storytelling and sharp design discipline defines my work. Through Robyn Spencer Creative and my design storefront Pixel Pantry, I help independent businesses, creative brands, and studios bring their visual ideas to life—delivering everything from cohesive brand identities to custom digital assets.

Education

Emily Carr University of Art + Design
I earned my Bachelor of Media Arts from Emily Carr University, where I explored cinematography, visual communication, and animation. My studies blended the technical and the artistic—from the foundations of ancient art history to the experimentation of modern design—which continues to influence how I approach creative problem-solving today.

West Point Grey Academy
I had the opportunity to invest in a wide range of interests, including athletics, academics, music, and fine arts. These active pursuits developed a deep appreciation for the arts and fostered a deep sense of discipline.
